Debra Handorf

Hello, I am Debra Handorf.

I am a retired school teacher who taught school for 31 years. I received my real estate license in 1988. I was inactive from 1990 until 2006. Since activating my license in August,2006, I have been actively involved in real estate. From 1978 until 2004, I taught school in the Palestine area. I retired from teaching school in 2004. I then taught school again in 2005-6 and from Apr. 2008 to Feb. 2010.

Being a former educator, I value education. Since re-entering real estate in 2006, in addition to required classes in real estate such as ethics and legal course requirements, I have received my GRI (Graduate, REALTOR® Institute-October, 2007), ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative-March, 2010-not active), SRS (Seller Representative Specialist-April, 2012) designations. I will continue to increase my knowledge of the real estate industry through formal classes and informal questioning to better serve my clients.

From August, 2006 to December 2013, I was associated with Century 21, Pace McDonald, Inc. in Palestine, Texas. As of January 2, 2014, I am an agent at Hibbard Real Estate in Palestine, TX

I served the Palestine Association of REALTORS® as president in 2012 and now serve on the Palestine Association of REALTORS® board of directors as past president.
