I am International Expert on Domestic Violence, #1 International Best Selling Author of “The Missing Piece: A Transformational Journey,” and "The Missing Piece in Business." Recently, I have added teaching to my repertoire with Camas, Evergreen and Vancouver School Districts.

My business & life perspective is framed by my experiences & education. My academic disciplines of gender, culture, & history have inspired me to break the deafening silence that weds cultural discourses, social practices, and gendered expectations of survivors of domestic violence. It is my philosophy that business is life & if work is my passion business is fun!
As a survivor of domestic violence, I have 25+years experience working in the anti- violence field. Over the years, I have provided education/trainings as well as developed curricula on local, state, tribal, national, and international levels education.

Healing stems from self-advocacy which leads to empowerment which leads to activism which leads to advocacy for others. It is a 24/7 experience - one leads to another until it is full circle! I love to laugh and that includes laughing at myself!
