Debbie Sims

Debra Sims (Debbie) was born and raised in Grand Rapids, MI. She graduated from Ottawa Hills High School in June 1976 and earned a BS from Aquinas College with a dual major in Accounting and Business Administration in December 1979.Debbie’s passion is her family – she has four children and seven grandchildren and enjoys spending time with them every chance she gets. Debbie also enjoys cooking/baking, traveling, reading, walking and shopping. Debbie has been employed by GM/EDS/HP for over 35 years. She started with GM right out of college. When GM acquired Electronic Data Systems (EDS) all employees that performed a ‘data processing’ function were transitioned to EDS. In 2008 Hewlett Packard (HP) acquired EDS and all employees were transitioned to HP. Debbie has enjoyed the many roles and opportunities her tenure with GM/EDS/HP has afforded her as well as the many friendships made along the way.
