Debra Steele

My name is Debra N. Steele. I was born and raised in Durham, North Carolina. My birthday is February 3, 1993. I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters. I am a sophomore at North Carolina Central University. I gave birth to a amazing little guy name Anthony on February 13, 2012. The day I laid eyes on him all I could think of was determination. That was the moment I knew if anything I wanted to be, I will have to be determined! Once I became a mother I knew it wasn't just myself I was looking after of. Now I was sharing this world with my son. I believe success takes determination and after each failure it takes determination to try again. I knew becoming a mom would change my life. I learned many lessons and some came from failure. But If I wasn't determined to get up and try again I knew I wasn't making a effort for a great future for my son.
