Debra Taylor

After studying nursing at York Regional School of Nursing in Toronto, Debra worked for several years with seniors in nursing homes. Following a 10 year sabbatical during which she spent time at home with her two children she returned to the medical field as a pharmaceutical sales rep calling on doctors, pharmacists, clinics and other health care professionals. Following the loss of both her husband and Mother to smoking related diseases in 2002 she decided to take a more active role in helping people attain a healthier lifestyle through a more holistic approach to addiction and pain management. Following an intensive course of study in low level laser therapy at the Matrix Institute of Therapeutic Systems she opened the Optimum Health Laser Centre (now London Laser Health Care Centre Inc) and The Optimum Laser Training Institute (now the London Laser Training Institute) She has continued her education receiving certificates in Addiction study, Women’s Health, Obesity and Menopause, Metabolic Syndrome and Drug Nutrient Depletion, Weight Management and more. She has written several textbooks including a basic primer on Laser and Laser Therapy, Pain Management and a successful Weight Loss Program. In 2010 Debra received the designation of Certified Hypnotherapist. She is a member of NAALT(The North American Association of Laser Therapy and NGH (The National Guild of Hypnotists) Specialties Debra is an accomplished public speaker and teaches courses on laser as well as pain management, nutrition, menopause and other health issues. She is also a licenced wedding officiant in the province of Ontario.
