• Preparing for The Moth's September 2012 Grand Slam in Chicago.
• Mt. Vernon Tug-O-War team. They will represent the US at the world championships in Switzerland in September!
• Books-in-progress are proceeding well. Last reading well-received.

Adventures:

Am following the exploits of best friend & California Gurl, Karen J, on sabbatical near the redwoods. This pic is from her travels.

Life with roommates is so much more appealing than going solo. Especially when the newest roomie is a queenly rescued cat, whom we allow to order us around. She may not wave like Queen Elizabeth, dear chums, but she certainly possesses the white gloves.
