After graduating from the University of Western Australia, and securing her first full-time job, Deanne Carter immediately began looking for ways to become financially independent and started building her investment property portfolio. This was in 1989, just as Australia was coming out of a recession.

Fast forward to 2006, when searching to expand her own portfolio, she left behind a highly successful management career to focus on property investment. Since then, she has personally coached hundreds of Australians, ranging from first time investors through to high earning professionals, sharing with them how to build and effectively manage their own property portfolio. With a strong focus on asset accumulation and risk minimisation, Deanne brings to the forefront the skills needed for those who want and demand of themselves financial independence and excellence.

She's the founder of the YES Project - a financial & lifestyle coaching business, a devoted Mother, fitness fanatic, and a marathon runner with a passion for conscious living. Amongst these, she thrives on being a student of "Life".
