Raycheen Sims

Raycheen Sims has been involved with women’s ministry since 1990 and became a licensed minister in 1996. Previously a minister at Family Worship Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan, she developed, coordinated, and taught a weekly Bible study known as "Revealing the True Self."; which is also the time she began ministering at women’s conferences and hosting women’s’ retreats. Raycheen resides in Grand Rapids, Michigan with her husband Robert, son Robert Isaiah, III and daughter Nicochia S. Sims. Currently she is the Assistant Pastor of Creative Arts and Women’s Counselor at Grand Rapids First Assembly of God, where she and her husband Robert also serve as Elders. In 1996, the Lord directed her to establish her own ministry called "Unmasked Ministries." As Director of Unmasked Ministries, Raycheen has dedicated her ministry efforts to helping women of all ages, cultures, economic levels, and professions remove their emotional masks and begin revealing who they are in the fullest sense. Raycheen is as comfortable ministering to teens with their adolescent challenges as she is ministering to women coping with adult life issues. She offers a ministry approach that is strong and compassionate, coming from the heart and touching the spirit. In 2000, Raycheen introduced the Dare to Dream™ Personal growth creative workshop, another medium through which she connects with her audience and provides possibilities for transforming their lives. As creator and host of the Dare to Dream™ workshop, Raycheen challenges, inspires and empowers people everywhere to discover a new joy of living, and a renewed sense of self and purpose. Raycheen believes the call on her life is to minister the love of God, helping people change ungodly perceptions of themselves. Many years ago, finding herself a young Christian in need of wholeness, she discovered the keys to being restored to the place of honor that God intended for her, through applying God's Word. Raycheen now uses her testimony to draw women out of hopelessness, aimlessness and helplessness into a life of purpose and fulfilled dreams. She believes that God has given every person a purpose in life, and that by daring to dream, in spite of life’s challenges and satan’s attacks, each person can realize their God given purpose. Her life is transparent, and her teachings are practical and can be applied in everyday life. Raycheen is available to minister at meetings, Bible studies, conferences, and workshops, especially those focusin
