Decron Properties Corp.

Decron Properties Corp. is a leader in real estate investment, managing 50 projects in its current portfolio totaling over 6 million square feet. The company specifically invests in commercial shopping centers, marinas, office buildings, and multi-family apartment buildings, most of which are located in Southern California. Decron Properties, led by a team of experienced real estate professionals, specializes in urban infill development, acquiring and redeveloping underutilized land and property and transforming them into modern renovations of increased appeal and value.

The success and growth of Decron Properties is built on the drive and dedication of its founder and current chairman, Jack Nagel, a Holocaust survivor who arrived in the United States with no family in 1947. Upon his arrival, Mr. Nagel pursued an education and became a driven businessman, eventually establishing the successful real estate construction company, the Nagel Construction Company. In 1988, Jack Nagel transferred the management of his portfolio to his son David Nagel, who became President of Decron Properties. The company has since grown into a $1.2 billion enterprise with a promising future.

Decron Properties currently has four projects under development. Located in Marina del Rey, the Bay Club Apartment complex features 202 apartments and 253 boat slips and will receive a $25 million interior and exterior rehab. Construction will commence in April 2012. The Playa Manchester is a proposed mixed-use project located in Playa del Rey. It will contain 260 dwelling units comprising of one- and two-bedroom units with dens and lofts, 59 studios, and 14 live-and-work units, ideal for those who require work spaces in their home. The Redondo Beach Marina is part of a revitalization project that will turn existing neighborhood restaurants and a 58-slip commercial marina into a mixed-use development with great appeal. The project will be a mixture of marina slips and retail, restaurant, and office spaces arranged around an amphitheater, waterfront esplanade, and other entertainment facilities. The Plaza at Huntington Beach will be redeveloped to add a residential component and mixed-use site to its current shopping plaza and Class A office high-rise.
