My name is Dede Wilson and I'm a freelance ELT trainer. I used to work in Further Education in London. For the last few months, I've been campaigning to save the NHS provision in West London, where the local health trust plans to recoup losses of hundreds of millions of pounds by selling off the site of Charing Cross Hospital for housing development. I want to expose the mismanagement and self-interest which cuts like this represent, and point out the consequences of this and other myopic, misguided government thinking, a problem that has plagued goverments of both right and left in the last 20 years.
