I am a post-graduate B Ed student completing my Honours degree in English Literature at the University of Johannesburg. My research focusses on the role of religion and magic in Medieval English folklore and legends, specifically the Pearl Poet's Sir Gawain and The Green Knight. Some of my other interests include children's literature, fantasy and nonsensical literature like Alice in Wonderland and Through The Looking-glass. I am also an eager student of Derrida's literature theory of Deconstruction. I tutor English academic writing and third year English literature.
