Dj Congo
"First u have to respect music" says Kyle "Dj-Congo" Congo a young but talented Dj residing in the small wonder better known as Delaware. Kyle is currently living right out side of the city outer limits of Wilmington, Delaware. Some say his networking abilities are quickly getting him on the tri-state scene and expanding his career to greater heights. You may also be familiar with his well known street team "Team Wipeout" a group of young entrepreneurs on race to take over the party scene of Delaware. A lot of his peers are starting to realize that this may really be the anti drug for Congo. After never having a father figure in his life Kyle is starting to realize he has always had a love for pleasing crowds of significant numbers with his turntable skills and great sense of humor since he was young which sometimes got him in big trouble. Now that kyle has seen the means of work of the in dj's before him he now has a more focused mindset. Kyle is brother of two and but somehow is still managing to grow and grow as an individual. When Congo is asked why do you dj he often replies "the greatest career is of the one you love to do". Congo is now beginning to use his networking abilities to his advantage and is starting to connect with numerous Philly, Delaware, and Jersey musicians. Even though kyle is still young his talent and personality make up for those years. DJ-Congo also has a couple people he looks up to. "I just remember when i was 15, watching Dj-Bran every weekend at the Elsmere Skating Center just take crowds by hand with his skills and then leaving there tuning right into Dj Doc B on the way home taking my notes of the double beats, to scratches, and blending methods. I can remember the first time i was in the booth i was 13 and i wasn't really suppose to be in that area but i had to, but when i actually put the head set on and touched the vinyl it was bound from there." Kyle has a strong fan base of his peers. "I can deal with failure because everyone fails at something , but not trying is something i can't live "kyle says when asked does his age affect him. The young disc jockey often tells people "send a message to the high man because im coming" but as far as goals go kyle says the ultimate toast would be 6pm on a local station.
