Deelight

Loving the discovery, by itself, Deelight transfers to the mixer this way of life, making sure that, in each tune and in every set, the improvise and the experiment embody a unique musical moment, able to surprise the sharpest and the most exquisite ears.

Eclectic and informal towards the act of djing, he appeared on the Portuguese Dance Scene feeling like a breath of fresh air, because he believes that it only makes sense for people to enjoy his sets and have fun, if he is the first to do so! More then a Dj Set, Deelight promises you a night of party, of fun.

This attitude, along with the quality of his dj sets, has taken Deelight to play at the trendiest parties and events across Portugal, like the Lisbon Biannual Art Exhibition, the Sines World Music Festival, the Capítulo V Clubhouse, the Kadoc Disco, the Locomia Clubhouse, or the Sasha Summer Sessions on the years of 2008, 2009 and 2010, among many others.

2010 was a fantastic year for Deelight. Picked up to be the resident DJ of the Sasha Summer Sessions, Deelight also released the Compilation "Sasha Summer Sessions by Blu", published by Vidisco, one of the major Portuguese record labels.
He also performed at the 10th anniversary of Caniço's parties, a mythical beach party in Portugal (where he regularly acts as a dj), as well as at the 25th anniversary party of one of the most solid Portuguese commercial enterprises – "Continente" –, where he played for nearly 80.000 people.

On 2011, Deelight acted an average of 2 gigs per week, and was chosen to be the resident DJ of the "MEO SPOT Summer Sessions", one of the biggest and finest Summer Events in Portugal.

This Year, Deelight has been acting all over Portugal, and the summer promises to be fantastic!
