Deena Williamson

Over the course of her career as a corporate attorney and general counsel, Deena Williamson stands out as a two-time finalist for the Washington Metropolitan American Corporate Counsel Association's ("WMACCA") Outstanding In-House Counsel of the Year award. She earned her first such nomination while serving in a prior role as Deputy General Counsel of Savvis, Inc., where she also secured an invitation to the President's Club for her legal support of the company. She earned her second finalist nomination for Outstanding In-House Counsel from WMACCA just recently for her work as General Counsel with Williams Lea, Inc.

In her earlier career, Ms. Williamson distinguished herself as senior deputy general counsel to Qwest Communications, where she earned multiple Quarterly Excellence Awards for Extraordinary Contributions to Sales and twice accepted the Chairman’s Club Award. A graduate of the University of Georgia (UGA) School of Law, she holds a bachelor of business administration from UGA as well.
