A doctoral student in the Earth and Environmental Science department, specialized in Geography, at the City University of New York and an international consultant currently based in New York, USA. Research focuses on the urban geography of the Arab world but my work covers a broad range of subjects in the realm of geography, urban studies, architecture, political economy and Middle East Studies. Further to this, I have acted as an international consultant for a number of UN agencies, INGOs, governments and research companies, such as the Economist Intelligence Unit. I am a member of the Association of American Geographers (AAG) and the Middle East Studies Association (MESA)
