Deepak Sharma

I am working as Assistant librarian (In-Charge) in ITM University, Gurgaon from Decemeber 2009 to till date. I did my Master of Library & information science from Kurukeshtra University Kurukeshtra. I have nine years of professional experience in leading Management, Engineering and Education Institutes & Universities like ITM University, Gurgaon, Asia Pacific Institute of Management Studies, New Delhi, KIIT Group of Institutions, Gurgaon and Omaxe Institutions Palwal etc. I have attended many conferences and seminars and AICTE sponsored training programmes. I have organized a National Conference on as Organizing Secretary on “Emerging Trends of IT in Management & Library Systems: Issues & Challenges” in KIIT World Campus, Gurgaon on 24th October, 2009.Over 150 participants from all over India attended this Conference including Mumbai, Punjab, Kolkatta and Delhi/NCR Region. My area of interest lies in Marketing of Library Services, Use of ICT applications in Libraries. I have taken life member of Special Library Association-Asian Chapter, Management Libraries Network and Haryana Library Association (HLA).
