Since beginning his career in the U.S. Army Signal Corps, Detroit-based Deepinder Uppal has amassed over two decades of experience finding solutions to increasingly complex technological challenges. Specializing in solutions pertaining to big-data integration, network architecture (5G, tactical data links, FirstNet, dynamic spectrum sharing, etc.), and AI-enabled analytics (NLP, AI, ML, etc.), he has carved out a space for himself in the industry as a technology change-maker.
Currently, Deepinder serves as the Vice President of Innovation and Technology in the Public Sector for Information Builders. He provides technological solutions to the Department of Defense (DoD), State, and Federal governments. Previously, Deepinder spent a decade in higher education playing a major role in academics and policy research as a professor, academic administrator, and director of nonprofit and research organizations.
