Deer Creek Camp

At 'Deer Creek Adventure Camps', a premier summer camp located in Medina, Texas, we offer fun and exciting programs for any age group and size! Our goal is to provide a safe environment for America's finest campers that will make a difference in their lives today. We offer both one and two week summer camp Schedules for campers ages 7-19.

'We Believe' adventure programming builds confidence in tomorrow's leaders. Our interdenominational 'Christ-Centered Adventure Program' allows campers to set realistic goals and gives them the opportunity to experience success.

We hire a committed team of counselors from colleges and universities across multiple states. Our staff to camper ratio is 1 to 4 facilitating strong relationships that last well beyond the weeks of summer camp. Each camp term during the summer has approximately 100 - 120 campers, which makes every child an individual. Our staff are ready to listen to their ideas, questions, or needs.

Our 100 Acre, rustic Texas Hill Country camp is nestled along the West Fork of the Medina River. We have comfortable, wood-frame cabins with a bunk capacity for 140 plus. It's an ideal site just two miles west of Medina, incorporating a beautiful outdoor setting for dynamic church retreats, conferences, school events, team retreats, or corporate picnics/retreats. We're only an hour and fifteen minutes from San Antonio, and an hour and a half from I35 in New Braunfels. Check available dates by calling the camp office (830) 589-7123.

Our 'Group Retreats' have a challenge course designed to teach communication and team building skills. Our staff of 'all-American' Christians can organize and play games as well as activities with any age group and size (adults too!).

It is our goal that you would "see a sermon" before you hear one during your retreat. We practice lifestyle evangelism by living out the "I'm Third" life in all we do. Conference speakers, seminars, and music leadership are available on request.
