Bill is an award winning chef and author. He is based on Deerholme Farm, a culinary destination in the Cowichan
Valley of Vancouver Island. Author of 12 books including:
The Deerholme Mushroom Book (2013)
The Deerholme Foraging Book (2014)
and
The Deerholme Vegetable Book (2015)
(Touchwood Editions).
His farm is a an edible landscape near the ocean and forest - nation and holds local food dinners, workshops and cooking classes based on Pacific Northwest foods - many from the farms gardens and forest.
