I graduated in December of 2016 with my Master's Degree in Sociology and am now a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Memphis in the Communication Studies Program.

I am also interested in qualitative methodology and the ways that it can be innovated and modified to make academic knowledge more accessible to the general public.

I work at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Memphis as their Retention Specialist and Grant Facilitator, where I keep up with our enrolled students through retention efforts, I manage our grant budgets, I make sure we continuously meet all the demands of our various grants, and I write up the necessary reports for those grants.

After the completion of my doctorate degree I would like to work in a leadership position in a Non-Profit.
I enjoy working with grants primarily, be that grant writing, the facilitation of the needs of a grant, or the end reports necessary.
