Deidre L. Kelly

It is often said that life is about the journey and not the destination. I hope it is true. My journey has taken me down a winding road of intimidating hills to climb that turned into views so sweet it took my breath away.

Currently, my destination is unknown. After completing my Executive Master of Public Administration degree in December 2013, my direction will be clearer as my options increase. I hope to continue to work in higher education in the realm of student affairs. Ideally, I would like to combine my passion for helping others with my background in public relations and marketing. I thrive in a fast-paced, creative, and challenging atmosphere where my leadership abilities, communications talents, and love of the education field intertwine to ultimately enhance the profile and performance of both my students and my organization.

The journey may be long and filled with obstacles, but I will get there. Each challenge will be an opportunity to learn and grow into a stronger, more well-rounded citizen of the world. Along the way, I hope to positively impact those around me and make a tangible difference in their lives.
