Hi! I'm Deighton and I'm an 18-year-old passionate about the world and all the people living in it. I love to learn and I'm full of odd and mostly useless facts. When I'm not busy completing my degree as a Journalism major at Ryerson University, or consumed by a story in the news, I enjoy the world of flavourful tea and the high energy pace of Spinning class. I come from a small town in Southern Ontario, so I tend to have a soft spot for the little guy. I'm a budding writer who is still living off the cloud nine that came from getting my first short story published. I would love to combine my passion for writing and my passion for social justice causes into what I hope to call my career someday very soon.
