I'm a forty something mother of two teenage girls. I'm a Physiotherapist by profession and work part-time with adults with Intellectual Disability. I'm also a qualified Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist That's my serious professional side but I have a big creative side too and I'm a passionate cook and give cookery classes in my lovely kitchen in Glasnevin.
Cooking and eating are as integral to my life as breathing. As my daughter once said " Mum, you're so yourself when you're cooking!"
I'm pretty much a self-taught cook although I have done courses at several cookery schools , including Ballymaloe, The Good Things Cafe in West Cork, and Bon Appetit in Malahide.
One of the culinary highlights of my life was the fabulous week I spent at The Tannery Cookery School in Dungarvan with the fabulous Paul Flynn.
I love to bake my own bread and Have done Professional Bread and Sweetbread Courses in Kevin Street.
I'm an enthustistic but amateur veggie grower and grow an assortment of fruit and veg in my garden with veried success!
