Hey Friend Hey! I'm Deja Monee, the Chief Content Curator of Dejamonee.com and a Public Relations (PR) Specialist. I’m also known as a publicist, PR Girl, and my personal favorite, “the plug”.

I hate to burst your bubble, but PR is not what you've seen on TV. No shade to Samantha from Sex & the City or Olivia Pope from Scandal, but PR is not glamourous.

Over the past few years, I've represented clients in various industries including beauty, fashion, entertainment, alcohol, and technology. I've secured media placements in The Examiner, Madame Noire, Philly.com, The Daily News, Kontrol Magazine, and more.

In addition to public relations, I’m a contributing writer at Explore Philly and Sheen Magazine. I also provide social media management and personal brand development, as well as mentor women aspiring to have a career in publicity.

I earned a B.A. in Mass Media Arts from Clark Atlanta University and a M.A. in Professional Business Communication from La Salle University.

When I’m not working with clients, mentoring young professionals, or writing, you can catch me listening to Bryson Tiller, eating the best cheese steaks in Philadelphia, and searching for the perfect matte lipstick.
