Deji Lee
Deji Lee (left) is a 17 year old emcee currently residing in Atlanta, GA., but born in Muskegon, MI. He grew up listening to his mother's favorites which included Nas, Tupac, Kanye West, The Notorious B.I.G., Jay-Z, and other Hip-hop and R&B artists. In middle school, he met Trent Gray, his now longtime friend and group member, better known as Skooby D. In 8th grade Trent had already made his aspirations to be a rapper known, and with no real interest of his own Deji was inactive in pursuing a musical career. A day came when Deji decided to give rapping a try, when he wrote his verse for the song Coolin' featuring himself and Skooby D, their first cooperative attempt. Pleased by the positive response to his undeveloped skill, he chose to continue writing and recording songs with Skooby and his sister CeCe. In the summer of 2009, they formed the group Tha Movement which was later named One MIC (One Mission In Common). In 2011, Deji and the rest of One MIC made contact with the Trackbasterdz Recording Studio team's sole producer Mr. Pia. Today Deji is still a part of One MIC, which in addition to the original members includes Cali Tha Kidd; RonWest; and Glendino.
