Many times people ask me "What are you doing for living". Well it's simple.

After a successful business carrier I love to help and encourage companies from outside the Province of Utrecht to set up their business in this Region. That's my goal together with the Municipality of Utrecht. And it is also my calling card: As soon as an interested organisation indicates that it is in the market for an office location in the Utrecht region, I set to work straight away.

Starting up in 2005, I set up a business lobby organization to facilitate companies with their relocation to the greater Utrecht economic region. In 2015, we integrated our joint venture into the Municipality Utrecht, Economic Affairs. By joining forces, we wish to kill three birds with one stone: reducing volumes of unused office space, promoting employment and attracting interesting businesses to the city. This concept is bearing fruit. We operate market driven and has no profit motive. Our public status makes it possible to offer objective advice in every stage of the process.

I also called up my international networks, like my Chinese, Japanese, the United States and German Network. Our efforts have resulted in a database of thousands of contacts with Dutch and Foreign Businesses. A lot of them are looking with interest at Utrecht. They are above all from the business-, financial services and sustainability sector, healthcare and non-profit. Traditionally these sectors have been at home in the city. And my lobby as Business Advisor is especially aimed to facilitate them before, during and after their relocation to the most central region in the Netherlands, Utrecht.

We operate market driven and has no profit motive. Our status makes it possible to offer objective advice in every stage of the process. From initial investigation to eventual establishment. On the basis of an analysis of needs, together with the potential new business, We can select a range of office locations in Utrecht. When the estate agent and entrepreneur enter negotiations, I take a step back to guarantee our independence. Once the negotiations are successfully concluded, we once again come together. Entrepreneurs value close involvement and personal attention. They feel more than welcome here in Utrecht.
