Delilah Rothenberg
A business development professional leading the growth of sustainable entrepreneurship in the developing world, Delilah Rothenberg serves as managing director of Development Capital Strategies in New York. Educated at New York University, Delilah Rothenberg earned her degree in African studies, history and politics, and went on to work in investment banking, helping to build the Consumer Goods & Services unit at Gerson Lehrman Group, and in institutional equity research sales at Bear Stearns. After a six-month assignment as a business development coordinator for Zephyr Management, Ms. Rothenberg launched Development Capital Strategies and began working with companies and investors to create sustainable business opportunities in sub-Saharan Africa.
In tandem with her responsibilities at Development Capital Strategies, Delilah Rothenberg currently sits on the board of directors of the Business Council for Peace (Bpeace), where she helps to promote and foster ground-up entrepreneurship and innovation in such regions as El Salvador, Rwanda, and Afghanistan. She continues to collaborate with private entities and nongovernmental organizations to improve sustainability in some of the world’s most undercapitalized areas.
