Hello, I’m Demario Angarita. I’m a student at Nazareth Academy, a college prep high school in La Grange Park, IL. At Nazareth Academy, Throughout my tenure at Nazareth Academy, I've participated in Chess Club, Varsity Track & Field, Investment Club, Varsity Cross-Country, Trivia Club, and NazFit(Fitness Club), Varsity Bowler. Throughout my ventures at Nazareth Academy, I've gained a passion for finance, fitness/sports, education, volunteering, Learning Tech, and trying to diversify my talents. My love for Fitness is displayed in my involvement in multiple varsity athletics at Nazareth Academy. Over the summer I worked as a Sports Specialist Counselor for summer camp at the YMCA. I was responsible for sending a weekly schedule with the activities I would be doing with each group and the supplies needed. I led each group of kids ranging in ages 5-14 in various sports-related activities in-house at the YMCA, or at various parks in the area. In my spare time, I appreciate running, yoga, chess, music, the stock market, fashion, sneakers, coffee, cars, traveling, and sports. As an aspiring content creator in the sports media industry, I'm in the process of creating a sports podcast. The podcast will be about my favorite sports team the Cleveland Cavaliers. During this process, I'm educating myself on how to edit and produce my podcast to share it with a large audience. Overall, I'm mesmerized by the opportunities and challenges life presents. My life goal is to leave my community, academic institution, and the world a better place than when I came into it.
