Demelza Farr

I started off as an IT Consultant in London for Accenture, which I loved. It gave me a great respect for the saying ‘never assume anything’ and how to work with perfectionist clients.

I then wanted to experience working abroad, so before I knew it Australia beckoned and Vodafone offered me a job and a Visa!

I started in 2006 as a ‘Service Owner’ in Technology, managing the lifecycle of our CRM IT systems. I then moved to the Networks area of technology to learn a whole new list of acronyms and support our Business Sales team with managing the on boarding of large Customers. I loved the relationship with the Sales and Marketing teams and working with our multi-national Customers, so grabbed an opportunity to take my IT experience and work for Business Marketing within the Vodafone Global Enterprise area to deliver new global products as well as commercially support our Sales team

Then when the merger arrived, it was time for something new! I had always admired the work of the Vodafone Foundation and thought for a new merged company, who’s building a new culture, the Foundation would be a great place to get involved.
