I am a native of Jacksonville, Florida that loves family, entrepreneurship, and professional & personal growth and development. I am a serial entrepreneur, author of, “Tips for Success on Starting and Operating an Elderly Care Business”, and devoted to God's purpose.

I am a Registered Nurse with over 20 years in the healthcare industry. My experience are Medical Surgical Nursing, Nursing Educator, Case Management, and Nursing Administration and Leadership. I hold a Master of Business Administration Degree with a Minor in Marketing, and a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Registered Nursing. I am a Certified Business Consultant, Healthcare Risk Manager, and Assisted Living Administrator.

I am the founder of Demetrice Dowdell Success Academy, a Healthcare Business Consulting, Coaching, and Business Development firm for individuals that desire to start a Home Care Agency or Assisted Living Facility. I am passionate about providing tools and resources to start-up companies with a focus in the healthcare industry. I have developed courses, written policy & procedures, developed guidelines & pathways to make starting a healthcare business more approachable and prepared to tackle the challenge.

As, previously stated, I am devoted to my family. I enjoy worshipping, traveling, shopping, and just simply “being” with them. They are the highlight of my life. I credit them with a lot of my contributions to life because they keep me going!
