Demetrio Timban
With more than two decades experience in arbitration, negotiations, and litigation, Medford, New Jersey, resident Demetrio Timban has led a successful private law practice since 2010. He has also guided Medford, Kumon, Math & Reading as owner for the past seven years. Demetrio Timban maintains a strong social focus and regularly undertakes pro bono assignments through the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants.
Mr. Timban completed his JD at the Boston University School of Law, where he served as judge and advisor with the Stone Moot Court. He subsequently completed the management program at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Timban’s professional experience includes five years as managing administrative law judge with the adjudications division of the City of New York’s Department of Finance. He implemented efficient methods for tracking and reporting throughout the hearing process. These efforts increased the number of hearings held, while reducing the number of judges required. Demetrio Timban is also active with the American Immigration Lawyers Association and is a longstanding member of the New York and Massachusetts bars.
