A Partner at a private equity firm in Connecticut, Demetrios Dounis holds over a decade of experience with several firms, during which he has held a range of roles. In his current position, Demetrios Dounis has guided his firm's investments in companies in a number of industries, including Arnold Magnetics, Velocity Outdoor Inc. and Clean Earth, where he previously sat on the board of directors.

Before joining the firm in 2007, Mr. Dounis was an Associate at Circle Peak Capital, a late-stage private equity firm. While there, he focused on the consumer sector and led transactions valued between $25 million and $250 million. He was also responsible for closing the Rocket Dog transaction, with the buyout of the footwear brand being worth $120 million.

Before his career in private equity, Demetrios Dounis was an Accountant who graduated from Rutgers University with a bachelor of science in Accounting with a minor in political science. He subsequently attended the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, where he pursued a master of business administration in entrepreneurship, finance, and strategic management, which he earned in 2007.
