Demetrius Colbert

Demetrius is the author of LIFE AFTER PEOPLE: overcoming people and the limitations they placed on you through life. A thought leader, public speaker, and an innovator in the business of empowerment. Raised in Tucson, AZ Demetrius' future looked bleak as he had no ideal who he was. But at the age of twenty-one his life changed, Demetrius' desire to understand why he existed led him to find his Christian faith and go on a search for significance that would lead him to become a agent of hope for others who he knew were searching like he once was. Since this time Demetrius has been promoting a sense of hope, self-esteem, leadership, dignity, empowerment and opportunity for all people. Demetrius is married to Connie Colbert who in her own right is very accomplished! She has served in the medical community for more than 25 years and has a Masters Degree in Nursing, she currently works as a Director of Healthcare services at a local university. Demetrius has four daughters and two grand children.

Demetrius was ordained in 1998 and has served along with his wife as a Senior Pastor, Associate Pastor, CMO, COO, Administrative Director and most importantly and general servant to the body of Christ. In other environments Demetrius has worked as a Executive Director, Senior Manager, Department lead and Business Development advisor.

Demetrius is the founding pastor of Fellowship Phoenix in Phoenix, AZ which he no longer pastors. During his tenure his vision was to inspire a generation of believers to discover their identity in Christ and then impact their communities by expressing their faith in the marketplace, at home and wherever the Lord granted them access.

Demetrius is also passionate about the community. While many focus on national concerns. Demetrius feels led to meet the needs in his community. This means educating the under privileged, helping to create opportunities, parterning with great organizations and coaching people in the area personal and Christian development.
Demetrius has been married for 23 years.
