Policy Wonk in District of Columbia, DC
What’s up, I’m Demri and I live in Washington, DC.
I was born and raised in Colorado and became excited about politics after a life-changing mission trip where I saw the effects of corrupt government firsthand. After the trip, I decided to pack up my bags and move cross-country to DC.
I will be moving into a new job on Capitol Hill soon. Previously, I was a Fellow in technology and telecommunications policy at Digital Liberty, a project of Americans for Tax Reform.
I've received features in the Washington Post and the New York Times and my words appear in the Hill, the Washington Examiner, the Daily Caller and in comments submitted to government agencies.
I graduated Cum Laude from the George Washington University in 2018 with a degree in Political Science and International Affairs. I also received a minor in French.
While at GW, I interned on a presidential campaign, up on the Hill and at Americans for Tax Reform.
I am a big fan of liberty, technology, meditation, and fitness. I’m also interested in photography and hiking. You can view my portfolio with a click on the button above. Links below include my blog, photography portfolio and my various social media links.
