Dena earned her Bachelors of Arts in Journalism and Strategic Communication from UW-Madison's School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Her career endeavors encompass writing, media-production, and strategic communication. Dena is drawn to composing stories of human interest, political strife, and/or human triumph. Persistent, motivated and compassionate, Dena thrives in collaborative, open settings. She hopes to explore the communications field through public relations and media production. Dena currently serves as a communications and social enterprise associate at a Chicago-based non-profit.
