Once she joined college, she decided to pursue a degree in applied mathematics and graduated among the top in her class. Her strong performance landed her a tech role at a fast-growing fintech startup in San Francisco. While working there, she realized that cybersecurity was a real threat to players in the fintech industry. To capitalize on this presented opportunity, she went back to school and pursued a Master of Science in cybersecurity engineering.
