My passion lies in reducing the number of people incarcerated in the US, especially those locked up for non-violent drug related crimes. I was a victim of those policies that look at substance abuse as a criminal issue instead of a medical issue. I am currently working on my Masters of Social Work in hopes of reforming public policy.
