Rabbi Dena Trugman was ordained by the Rabbinical School of Hebrew College in Boston in June 2019. She is an empathic interfaith chaplain who has trained at Brigham & Women's Hospital, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, and Hebrew SeniorLife.

Rabbi Trugman brings joy, humor, and pathos to all things Jewish. She is available to officiate at life cycle events such as weddings, baby namings, B'nei Mitzvah ceremonies, and funerals.

Rabbi Trugman has worked for Harvard Hillel, VISIONS, Inc., NPR Music, The New Republic, and The Public Defender Service for D.C. She received a B.A. in English and History from Northwestern University and is an alumna of the Dorot Fellowship in Israel.

Originally from Charlottesville, Virginia, she loves music (especially singing jazz), dance, movement-based spiritual practice, mindfulness meditation, nature, and justice.
