Deni Archer

I am a environmental scientist by training, sustainability writer and consultant by practice, traveller, photographer and artist by essence.

While I am interested in all aspects of sustainable development, I favour social development and environmental sustainability. I action these interests through my work for Trialogue Publishing and Consulting.

My particular area of interest at present is social reporting, and I have strong skills in understanding and communicating messages of developmental impact through photography and story telling.

I am developing my skills in evaluation of community development projects to assist clients to improve the sustainable impact of their projects.

My photography focuses on social commentary and story telling. However I also do a range of portraiture, from professionals to families.

I also have an interest in sustainable food systems, and as a side project I run www.foodwithastory.co.za. This project aims to promote artisanal and ethical food producers in South Africa by telling their stories in a searchable directory. Through this website, I also blog about current food issues.
