Denis McDowell

I am an IT professional with 15 years of experience architecting and supporting environments using Microsoft Server Technologies. I hold MCITP in SQL Server 2005/2008 Administration and MCITP in SharePoint 2010 Administration. I also hold ITILv3 certification. My areas of focus are Microsoft SQL Server optimization and design and SharePoint 2010 architecture and adminsitration.

Since 2006, I have worked for a large Managed Services provider in Charlotte, NC, since 2011 as Director of Services Architecture. It has been an exciting time to be working in the MSP space. Prior to my current role, I worked as a Senior Systems Engineer for Intercerve (now SQLSentry), and spent five years as a Premier Support Engineer at Microsoft Corporation supporting Exchange Server messaging technologies.

In my spare time, I am an amateur musician (guitar and piano) and audio engineer. I also enjoy spending time with my beautiful Wife and two children.
