Sun Rising to New Heights

Writing is a sunrise. When I begin, I start with a point of light, one small idea. As I begin writing, I get clearer on what I want to express. As one idea leads to another the page becomes more illuminated. At times clouds of confusion blocks the clarity of my piece. Other times I am completely in the dark. But, if I am persistent and patient with my process, I am rewarded with a glorious sunrise that paints the sky.
