Denise Hernandez

I am currently living in Las Vegas, where I work at the Nevada System of Higher Education as an Ambassador for GoToCollegeNevada.org on behalf of Americorps. I attend the College of Southern Nevada, I am majoring in political science. When I am not providing students, professionals, and parents with resources that explain how accessible attaining a higher level education is; I am volunteering with a student lead organization that also promotes higher education. I am the Vice President of Events of this student lead organization; the Latino Youth Leadership Alumni.

I aspire to become a strong leader within my community that will inspire youth to give back and continue their education until a college degree is obtained.
