Denise Reashore

Denise Reashore loves to read and memories from elementary school, particularly grade four, consist of book reports and hours spent reading in her bedroom - a love of writing and stories soon followed. She graduated from Acadia University, with a degree in English, then continued her studies at Mount Saint Vincent University, where she specialized in Elementary Education. Denise chose to pursue her love of writing and attend workshops on writing memoirs, writing for children, and exploring writing with poetry. She teaches in rural Nova Scotia. Denise lives on almost 3 acres of land, rich with its own history, and shares an old-style home with her husband, two daughters, and cat.
