Denise Dewveall

My name is Denise Dewveall. I am in my sixth year of teaching AP Calculus AB as a Distance Learning instructor. During the past six years I have also taught College Algebra, Plane Trigonometry, AP Statistics, and Pre - Calculus Trigonometry.

My husband and I live in the River Valley with our adult daughter and our 15 pets. Our daughter is a Junior at Arkansas Tech University majoring in Physical Education/Health with a teaching certificate. Our son recently married and lives in Conway with his wife and their two newly adopted cats. A love of animals runs deeply in our family. We have seven cats, four dogs and four horses.

My undergraduate degree, BSE, is in Mathematic Education and Social Studies Education from Southern Arkansas University. I also have a ME in Mathematics Education from Arkansas Tech University. Since obtaining my MS, I have also completed additional college hours to obtain certification in Physical Science. Since I began teaching in August of 1988, I have taught all levels of mathematics, many social studies course, physical science classes and astronomy. During the past many years I have taught grades 7 to freshman level mathematics courses.e
