Denise Kvapil

I am Denise Kvapil, MSN, RN, a nurse executive with experience in emergency care, critical care, and hospital leadership. I began my career at the bedside and progressed into roles including Assistant Director, Director, Chief Nursing Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Market Chief Nursing Officer. I focus on patient safety, nurse development, and improving hospital systems. My leadership is shaped by service in the U.S. Marine Corps, emphasizing accountability, integrity, and teamwork. I mentor new nurses and leaders, advocate for best patient outcomes, and work to create sustainable, patient-centered healthcare environments. I am also a single parent who values balance between personal and professional life.
