Denise Romeo is the founding editor and primary author of the award-winning blog: We Like To Cook! named Best Self Atlanta magazine's "Best Local Food Blog" for 2 consecutive years, Denise and her husband started chronicling all the recipes and tricks they used in their home kitchen for their boys to have when they were grown, making memories and creating traditions with their own families. Needless to say, the project snowballed.
Known in the Atlanta area for her communications skills, Denise turned her attention to the Atlanta Food Bloggers’ Society, for whom she served as President, promoting “all things food” in the city for over two years. At the same time, she served as a certified food judge and ambassador for the World Food Championships before taking on the role of Editor for DiningOut Atlanta Magazine, a position she held until the publication shuttered in 2019.
Denise takes the occasional freelance assignment while enjoying gardening and cooking with the organic produce she grows.
