About Me

Hey there, my name is Denise Zutel and I’m a UX/UI Designer (and licensed attorney) based in Pennsylvania. I am passionate about crafting digital experiences that enhance and transform how we experience the physical world around us. Prior to becoming a designer I worked in a variety of industries - As an attorney in New York I practiced criminal and appellate law for several years; I consulted as a regulatory compliance expert within the cannabis space; I launched my own tech product within the cannabis industry; and recently consulted as a communications and brand specialist for advocacy-driven organizations. What you'll get when you work with me is a business-minded designer with an eye for detail, a keen sense of research, and a no-quit attitude. As someone who has launched brands myself, I not only enjoy being a part of the startup process at every step, from conceptualization to development, but also know the importance of a customer’s brand experience to a business’s overall success. I use my research skills to help make informed decisions about the right problems to tackle, the best solutions to build and the execution of those solutions. I think strategically about user experience design as it relates to customer growth and revenue generation. And as a skilled communicator and storyteller, I am able to synthesize and present complex ideas to a variety of people across channels and teams.

With a prowess for crafting engaging end-to-end experiences coupled with a business-savvy attitude, I am excited to bring what I have to offer to the table and help businesses achieve financial success.
