Denish Patel

Denish was born and brought up in India. He holds MBA from Johns Hopkins University and Bachelor's of Engineering in Computer Science from Nirma University, India. He has decades of IT and Database Operations experience. He has spoke at various technology related conferences in the US and around world.

Denish Patel's background spans a wide depth and breadth of expertise and experience in SQL/NoSQL database technologies. Using this knowledge, he has architected and designed numerous successful database solutions addressing challenging business requirements.

Denish is working as Database Architect and following DevOps methodologies at University of Maryland Medical Systems. Prior to University of Maryland Medical Systems, he was Sr. Database Engineer at Medallia. Prior to joining Medallia, Denish was Principal Database Engineer at WithMe. Before that , Denish was a database team lead at OmniTI and database technology consultant on projects for enterprise clients in education, insurance, energy and pharmaceuticals, for companies such as Vectren Energy, Mylan Pharmaceuticals and M-Care Medicare Insurance.
