Prof. Dr. Emir Baki Denkbaş is faculty member in Chemistry Department, Bioengineering and Nanotechnology-Nanomedicine Divisions and director of HUNITEK, Advanced Technologies Applications and Research Center“ and “Biopolymeric Systems Research Group, BSRG”. He has received many National Scientific Awards. Prof. Denkbaş has advised 35 MSc and 15 PhD dissertations. He has 84 manuscripts in SCI journals, 14 books/book chapters and has almost 1150 citations. He has more than 170 presentations in national/international meetings. He is board member on editorial board of “Journal of Bioactive and Compatible Polymers”, “Journal of Biomedical Nanotechnology”, “Biomed Research International”. He has managed more than 20 research projects as the director which supported by Hacettepe University, TUBITAK and Ministry of Development. Prof. Denkbaş is also a founder member of “Turkish Controlled Release Society”.
