Dennis Langley

Minneapolis, Minnesota

Dennis Langley is a writer who lives in Minnesota working as a Certified Business Continuity Coordinator. Born in Michigan, he grew up in a suburb north of Chicago near Lake Michigan.

He attended Upper Iowa University where he earned a B.S. degree in Professional Biology. Routinely, he attends classes at the Loft Literary Center in Minneapolis. He belongs to the TC Fantasy Guild and two other writers groups in the Twin Cities.

He has published articles appearing in Stick and String, a traditional archery magazine and Gardener’s Grapevine, a gardening advice column for several Midwest newspapers. Though he has been writing seriously for the past three years, his interest in writing fantasy fiction began in the late seventies. He created numerous character backgrounds for role-playing gamers.

Along with Good Night’s Sleep, a completed fantasy short story, his current projects include: Smoke and Goblet, a sword and sorcery novel, and Actress and the Warlock, a contemporary western fantasy novella.

His spare time is devoted to fishing on any of the 10,000 lakes near his home, shooting traditional archery (Longbows and recurve bows), volunteering as a Master Gardener through the University of Minnesota Extension Program and making and restoring knives and swords.
